Today, Roechelle Adair explain us how to do a handmade paper clutch from recycled cardboard. Follow her step by step.
You will need:
- 3 pieces of cardboard from an ordinary cardboard box: two 5” x 8” pieces and one 3” x 8” piece
- Eco-fi (felt): two 3” x 5” pieces
- Tape
- Decoupage medium ( Roechelle used Earth Safe Decoupage)
- Thread and needle
- Hole punch
- Torn pieces of handmade recycled decoupage-able paper
- Ribbon bow
- Tiny piece of Velcro for closure
Step by step:
1. Tape the three pieces of cardboard together with the smallest piece (3” x 8”) in the middle.
2. Glue paper pieces on the cardboard, covering the whole thing.
3. Set aside to dry then coat clutch on both sides with the decoupage medium and let dry.
4. Punch holes on both sides of clutch and sew on of the felt pieces with the 3" length on the base and the top.
5. Place self-stick Velcro pieces in the top center of the bag.
6. Decorate the clutch with a ribbon.

Hoy, Roechelle Adair nos explica cómo fabricar un bolso de mano reciclando cartón. Síguela paso a paso.
Necesitarás:
- 3 trozos de cartón: 2 de 12,7 x 20,3 cm y una de 7,6 x 20,3 cm
- 7,6 x 12,7 cm de fieltro ecológico
- Pegamento de decoupage (Roechelle usó Earth Safe Decoupage)
- Cello
- Hilo y aguja
- Perforadora
- Restos de papel de antiguos proyectos
- Cinta
- Un pequeño trozo de Velcro
Paso a paso:
1. Pega con cinta adhesiva las tres piezas de cartón, poniendo en el medio la más pequeña (7,6 x 20,3 cm).
2. Con el pegamento, pega trozos de papel para cubrir todo el cartón.
3. Deja secar antes de cubrir los dos lados con pegamento de decoupage y deja secarr.
4. Perfora los dos lados del bolso. Cose el fieltro de 7,6 cm de largo.
5. Coloca un trozo de Velcro arriba en el centro, por dentro del bolso.
6. Decóralo con una cinta.
Ahora, ¡puedes lucir tu bolso de mano ecológico por la calle!
