We spend long hours in the office, and although that at home we are used to recycle, when we get into the office... what? forget about it all? We were thinking, is there any way we can transform our office into an eco-office or at least a bit more green?

We found some things that can make our offices look a bit different, see if you agree with them: 

1. First of all, how do you get to work? There are many ways; you can walk, use de metro, ride a bike, or, if the only option is the car, sharing the morning trip could be fun.
2. Emailing is so easy and fast these days that makes unnecessary sending paper letters by post. 
3. Printing paper only makes the office look messy.... if we keep the files into the computer (don´t forget to back up once in a while) instead of files cabinets, it will look a lot more organized. 
4. To take notes, why not using the other side of the papers you printed by mistake instead of throwing them away? 
5. With garbage, we could do like at home, separate paper from organic from plastics. Nowadays there are recycling containers everywhere!! 
6. Bringing lunch to work instead of takeaway is not only a healthier solution but a cheaper one as well.
7. And don´t forget, before leaving the office, to turn off all the lights and machines. Leaving them in standby, makes no good for anyone, not the machine nor the environment. 

I am sure there are plenty of other things we could do in the office to take better care of the environment.

Pasamos largas horas en la oficina, y aunque en casa reciclamos, llegamos a la oficina y qué? Se nos olvidó todo? Estábamos pensando, hay alguna manera de transformar nuestra oficina en un lugar ecológico, o al menos un poco más "verde"? 

Se nos han ocurrido algunas ideas para hacer la vida en la oficina un poco diferente, a ver si estás de acuerdo:

1. Primero, cómo vas a la oficina? hay muchas maneras; caminando, en metro, en bicicleta, pero si el uso del coche es inevitable, compartir el viaje mañanero puede ser divertido. 
2. El email es tan rápido y fácil hoy en día que hace innecesario enviar nada por correo postal.
3. Imprimir papeles sólo hace que la oficina esté desordenada... si mantenemos los archivos en el ordenador (no olvides hacer backup de vez en cuando) en lugar de desperdigados por ahí, la oficina estará bien ordenada. 
4. Para tomar notas, por qué no usar la otra cara de lo impreso por error en lugar de tirarlo? 
5. La basura, podemos hacer como en casa, separar papel de basura orgánica y plásticos. Hoy en día hay contenedores de reciclaje por todos lados!! 
6. Traer la comida al trabajo, en lugar de pedirla es una solución no sólo mas saludable sino también más barata.
7. Y no olvidemos, antes de irnos de la oficina, apagar todas las luces y máquinas. Dejarlas en standby no hace ningún bien ni a las máquinas ni al medio ambiente. 

Seguro que hay más cosas que podríamos hacer para cuidar más del medio ambiente.
