In Korea, G.Lab* Gamsam architects and associates have designed a visitors center for the wetlands in the region of Suncheon. 

Many people go visit this area during the holidays, and to reduce the impact, a center to lead them in the right path was needed. G.lab* designed the Suncheon International Wetland Center, following the lines of the tides and the prints that these leave on the ground.

The buildings are all separated from each other, in order to let the lighting in during winter and be energy efficient. Huge windows allow the visitors to better appreciate the surroundings when inside, and paths go along the center to lead the visitors to the water and exhibition areas without disrrupting the environment.

There is as well a continuous garden as a central path of the center. Minimising even more the effect of the building in the wetlands.

En Corea, G.Lab* Gamsan architects and associates han diseñado un centro de visitantes en los humedales de la región de Suncheon.

Durante las vacaciones, gran número de personas visitan esta zona, y para reducir el impacto medioambiental, se pensó en la construcción de un centro que condujera a los visitantes. G.Lab* diseñó el Suncheon International Wetland Center, siguiendo las líneas de las mareas y la huella que estas dejan en la tierra.

Los edificios están separados unos de otros, con el objeto de dejar pasar la luz en invierno y ser energéticamente eficientes. Grandes ventanas permiten a los visitantes apreciar los alrededores cuando se está en el interior, y en los alrededores hay caminos que conducen a los visitantes hacia el agua y las zonas de exhibición sin interferir con el medio ambiente.

Además, un jardín continuo sirve de camino central entre los edificios, minimizando aún más el impacto de estos en los humedales.
